But be sure you&#39;re installing under same base language than Vista or 7 is; if i&#39;m not wrong, same thing happened to me trying to install Ubuntu - Spanish version under Vista - English. I&#39;v tried to install Kubuntu 9.4 from its live cd using Wubi in W7, but aftre setting installing the uninstaller the install stops. I downloaded wubi separately and tried it with an ISO file. In both cases I set the compatibility mode to Vista, and tried running wubi as admin and normal user to. Always stops after installing the uninstaller.
